As Per IS 1448 (Part-XXI) - 1985; IP 34 & ASTM D-93.
This is widely used for determination of closed cup flash point of fuel oil, cut back asphalts, other viscous material and suspension of solids having a flash point above 49°C (120°F).
The apparatus consists of brass test cup with cover, removable cup cover with spring operated rotating shutter having pilot jet, manually Operated or electrically operated stirrer and a round / rectangular shaped heater with Energy Regulator. Suitable to operate on 220 Volts, 50 cycles and AC supply. Complete with Oil & Gas Test Jet Device.
